C.N.T History
While working as a network technician and then manager for the hospital system, Alan Casey found himself assisting doctors, colleagues, and friends with computer issues. He soon realized that there was an entire market whose needs were not being met. So in 1998, he started CNT with 12 customers which quickly grew and expanded. CNT evolved into an IT management company that acts as its client's IT support system, providing as much or little assistance as needed. This business model has proven to be advantageous for many small businesses who are now able to have conscientious and multifaceted reliable IT for the first time.
Network Technology and Management
C.N.T. is a network technology company. Our focus is on company networks as a whole. What we do best is manage the network resources and keep everything working together to provide our customers with more production and less downtime. We do this by evaluating the current network infrastructure, identifying any problem areas, and consulting with the client to map out the best course of action to protect their investment.
Many businesses secure our services in order to upgrade their current configuration or expand to take advantage of current technologies. With the increased availability of high-speed internet, many companies wish to connect remote offices, branches, or home users for increased productivity. Some simply wish to present an internet presence or have e-mail addresses that represent the company name or industry. The internet presents great advantages for businesses of any size, but it also creates some unique challenges. With our relationships with some of Austin’s top I.T. vendors and our own requirements for continuing education in the I.T. networking and security fields, we can provide our clients with the latest solutions to most networking scenarios. Each of our technicians is certified in at least 3 technologies and required to maintain those certifications through routine updates and testing. We provide all our techs with access to an extensive and up-to-date I.T. Library and training programs through SmartCertify.
